INTRODUCTION

My name is Brenda and welcome to my world, Hocus Pocus. Why Hocus Pocus? As we all know it's a meaningless chant or expression used in conjuring or incantation. It's a word known and used by circus people. It can be juggler's trick, sleight of hand, trickery, deception or a series of activities used to cover up deception and magnify a simple purpose.

My blog is all about movies and series critique. All the cover up you never spotted on the shows you watch. Reviewing the best to the worst movies of all time and finding life in the film world.

In critiquing, we'll focus mainly on the elements of a film which are: narrative, cinematography, mise-en-scene, editing and sound. These elements compose every scene in a film and together constitute the essence of film. 

I'll be reviewing films all over the world, whether international or locally produced films. My main reason for starting this blog is to describe the plot, characters, director etc. in order to help determine whether or not the film should be seen by you.
